LIVE: Day 3 of the Reece Tansey murder trial

Reece Tansey, aged 15, died from multiple stab wounds following an altercation in Walker Avenue, Great Lever in the early hours of May 4. Reece, a pupil at Harper Green School, was rushed to Salford Royal Infirmaryl but doctors were unable to save him. Two boys, now both aged 15 and cannot be named for legal reasons, deny murdering him and are on trial at Manchester Crown Court. Boy A admits stabbing Reece but denies he intended to kill or seriously injure him. Boy B claims he did not know his friend had a knife.
